The Best Education System Of The World

Education is a basic human right so that individuals can fully participate in cultural and social activities and helps in flourishing the country. Pakistan being a third world country have a very less literacy rate, moreover Pakistan is going through lot of problems like terrorism, poverty, insecurity, sectarianism, etc and education is not on a priority list of Pakistan government.

Education develops the roots of any nation and history have shown that nations who have defeated others they first occupy education systems but unfortunately and very sadly Pakistan is one country which is not taking any interest in any development of their education systems.

Education system in USA is considered to be the best and the reason behind this is that there is no discrimination, It doesn’t matter if you’re economically disadvantaged or have any other disability, you have the right to get quality education- please emphasis on quality—there is no discrimination between private or public schools there and from pre-school to university level they have fair and equal education for all.

On the other hand in Pakistan we have inequity on every level- starting the difference from English medium, Urdu medium, private institutes, government institutes etc. at university level there are also two types of Bachelor courses in Pakistan: Pass or Honors, pass system (B.A) requires 2 year of study for degree and students have only three to four optional subjects in addition to compulsory subjects like English and Pak-studies while Honors degree (B.Sc) required 4 year of study and here students normally specialize in chosen field of study.

After completion of B.A, B.Sc master degree programme are available for student which requires 2 years of education to get the masters degree and after this PhD education can be pursued in a specific field from a university which are doing research in that work field.

In USA syllabus and Curriculum designed such that they are equal for all the education system of the country but in Pakistan there is a huge difference and syllabus is not up to the mark and nothing at all according to the world education standards.

Solution for betterment of Pakistan Education System

It is highly important that government of Pakistan take some interest in developing the education system and education budget should be increased.

Policies should not be changed with every new government and this variation in policies must be discouraged and they should not be suddenly changed that the whole education system just collapsed and in the matter of time when schools and colleges understand the distorted system new government introduced new policies.

Basically there should be no Urdu and English medium difference and curriculum must be designed such that the students become able to understand and speak English. English medium should be adopted as a medium of education so that students if required can pursue their higher education abroad easily and efficiently.

Such a system should be introduced that students who go abroad for higher education they should be under strict observation and it should be mandatory that they return to homeland after completion of their study so that they can take part in developing the country.

Teaching is the toughest profession and it is not easy as much it is considered in our country but here who does not get any job they opt this profession so this concept should be discouraged and recruitment of teachers must be on merit. Teachers should also consider that they have the duty to educate the nation so they should do their job with full devotion and government should give benefits and attractive salaries to teachers so that they do their job best.

Universities must have a strong mechanism and independent policy making body and it should be selected carefully for the better and excellence institutional performance overall.

In short education system should not be biased and must know that every child has the right to get the quality education.
