Terrorism in Pakistan

"Whenever the word terrorism strikes in our mind, it gives us a sinking feeling in our heart, ever wondered why does that happen? The reason being is that the word terrorism is always linked with violence and things that have not been pleasant". Terrorism is derived from the word terror which means a period of frightful violence which most likely involves blood shed, This topic is very controversial because it doesn't have one justification as to how and when did terrorism start, who was the pioneer of it, how did it grow to fast, what are the roots of it, how many people are involved, do terrorist target a specific group, what are there motives., these factors are probably impossible to be known cause the real truth is hidden from all of us and we are in the blind all we can do is hope for this to come to an end somehow.

When it comes to terrorism a lot of sad events can flash before our eyes but a very famous incident that can never be forgotten in the history of mankind comes in front, yes the incident of 9/11 when the world trade centre blew in to bits and pieces, thousands of innocent people including infants and children lost there precious lives and till this day people are mourning, that day a lot changed in the world and the cards were turned for us Pakistanis, that day shall never be forgotten.

Terrorism has made the world suffer and specially Pakistan has been inflicted by terrorism to a huge extent, we don't know the real reason behind it but I guess our neighboring countries including India Afghanistan Iran and china play a huge role in it apart from that there are other factors that include injustice, political disputes, these things have a very bad affect on us humans and our motherland.

We are in a war against terrorism and its clear enough that the terrorists are leading with a huge margin, because of all these people the image of Islam has been distorted, now people consider our beautiful pure religion and us Muslims as terrorist, the reason being is that mosques, churches and places where people find them closer to God have been attacked several times. Why do they do that? Does taking the lives of innocent people give them some sort of pleasure? Does blood shed make there souls feel glad? I wish the answer to all those unanswered questions was somehow known to us. The dilemma is never ending, small towns, shopping places, educational places, hotels, mosques, churches nothing has been hidden from the wrath of these blood sucking leeches which in other words are called terrorists.

Islam is our religion and it preaches love, humanity, respect and brotherhood but these terrorists have taken Islam for granted, they forgot the teachings of our beloved prophet, they think that sacrificing their lives in the name of terrorism will take them straight to heaven. I think the common cause of all this is the literacy rate, there are hardly any people who are educated, we all know that education shapes up and individual and it plays an important role in character building but sadly education in Pakistan is not very much considered.

How we can overcome

"Now how can we overcome this dilemma? How can we get rid of terrorists and make Pakistan a peaceful country the way it used to be, this is where our government should take a stand, this is where our political leaders can sit down together and come up with a solution to make our homeland a place which is violence free. A few steps can be kept in to consideration like for example schools can be opened in to various districts that will provide necessary education to children and different individuals, the law and order situation needs to be taken care of, bribes should be banned and if anybody is caught taking bribe they should be punished. Every wrong deed should come with a punishment that will cause fear in people who are against peace and help maintain a terror free country that was given to us after the unlimited sacrifices of our forefathers."
